Supporting Safe, Confident Driving at Every Stage of Life

Align Adaptive Driving Services offers comprehensive driver evaluation and training for individuals whose medical, physical, or cognitive conditions may affect their ability to drive safely. We believe driving is one of the most important forms of independence — whether someone is learning to drive for the first time or considering whether it’s time to stop driving, we’re here to help.

Helping people make informed decisions about driving

We provide independent, personalized driver rehabilitation services that respect each individual’s goals while prioritizing safety, dignity, and informed decision-making.

Our Services

Our services are highly individualized because every person’s ability, goals, and challenges are unique. For many clients with learning differences, this personalized approach is especially effective and far less intimidating than traditional driver education programs. Drivers and their families often find this one-on-one support empowering and confidence-building.

We also support older adults who may be experiencing age-related changes or medical events that could affect driving ability. Our thorough evaluations and consultations help determine whether a person can continue driving safely, and family members are welcome to participate or inquire for guidance.

We work with

  • Older adults experiencing age-related changes
  • Individuals with medical conditions or injuries affecting driving
  • Teens and adults with learning differences or attention challenges
  • Individuals who require adaptive driving equipment
  • Families seeking guidance around driving safety

In addition, we assist individuals who require adaptive equipment — from hand controls and left-foot accelerators to adaptive seating and modified vans with ramps — enabling them to access their vehicles and communities with confidence. Our specialists evaluate clients to determine the appropriate adaptive solutions tailored to their needs.

If someone is not ready to return to driving, we provide thoughtful consultation and referrals. This may include recommendations for occupational or physical therapy, vision therapy, or other supportive services to help improve the skills needed for safe driving.

“After my stroke, I never thought I would drive again. Amanda helped me rebuild my confidence, learn to use adaptive equipment, and prepare for my road test. Her patience, professionalism, and encouragement made all the difference. Thanks to her guidance, I passed my road test and regained a level of independence I thought I had lost. I highly recommend Align Adaptive Driving Services to anyone working toward driving again after an injury or disability.”
